Rialto Historical Society

Our Mission

The Mission of the Rialto Historical Society is to preserve the history of Rialto and its surrounding environs by collecting historical records, documents, data, and artifacts.

We are dedicated to the preservation of:

  • The Rialto Historical Society Museum (est. 1971)

  • The 1906 Rialto Christian Church (Kristina Dana Hendrickson Cultural Center)

  • The 1853 Adobe at Bud Bender Park

  • Other historic sites throughout the community

Our Vision

The Vision of the Rialto Historical Society is to:

  • Grow and engage new members

  • Offer educational tours for visitors and school students

  • Maintain a strong and active RHS Board

  • Keep our museums open and accessible to the community

About the Museum

Location:
205 N. Riverside Ave
Rialto, CA 92376

Hours:
Saturdays, 10:00 AM – 2:00 PM
(Additional hours available as needed.)

You will be pleasantly surprised by the number of historic artifacts related to the City of Rialto in our exhibits. Donations are always appreciated.

Parking:
Available along Riverside Avenue or in the rear parking lot.

Available for weddings and special events.

Meetings & Tours

Membership Meetings
11:00 AM on the first Saturday of January, May, and September
Location: Basement of the 1906 Christian Church
201 N. Riverside Ave

Everyone is welcome. Programs on local history are included. Tours of the 1906 church are available following the meeting.

RHS Board Meetings
9:00 AM on the first Saturday of each month
Same location as above.
